- Keyword : al-Waqf, Cash Waqf, Islamic Education, MUIS. ABSTRACT Waqf is one of the noble needs which have been promoted in Islam. In Singapore, Waqf is one of the voluntary activities that being managed by government entity, Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura). In terms of administrative strive for excellence; MUIS has achieved an ISO 9001 for its management and administration of Waqf. MUIS is constantly striving towards excellent management system, about Waqf assets and cash Waqf. Cash Waqf which was then spent for all sorts of pious, Islamic education, and social purposes inclusive for the investment objectives. Consequently, this paper aims to enlighten the growth of cash Waqf in Singapore (MUIS).
