  • Peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) is a pods or second most important after soybean in Indonesia. According to Sumarno (1986), in one cycle, blooming existed > 396 flowers and not all became fruit. The research aimed to find out whether variety and period of blooming which became flower, flower criteria to the harvest of peanuts per hectare, finding which optimum blooming period became fruit, finding which variety produced most fruit. The research was done in Sawiran orchard, Dawuhan Sengon village, Purwodadi subdistrict, Pasuruan residence, with height 800 m on sea. The research application was done in December 2009 to April 2010. The research was done by experiment method. Grouped random design arranged in factorial with two factors. First factor, variety of peanut (V), consisted of rabbit variety (V1), mouse deer variety (V2), and elephant variety (V3). Second factors: optimum blooming period, consisted of optimum blooming period 110Hsb (P1), optimum blooming period 1120 Hsb (P2), and optimum blooming period 2130 Hsb (P3). From both factors, there found nine treatments combination and repeated three times so that found 27 treatments square. Observation parameters consisted of height addition, first ginophore, bloomings per period, ginophore amount, cipo amount, nuts amount, and harvest per hectare. Variance analysis showed that between variety and optimum blooming period in all observation without interaction. While separated influence from all factors had variance. In mouse deer and elephant variance, there found the highest nuts amount. For the flower height, there seemed that rabbit variance was higher in 14 days and the 35 th reach the highest. When the flower existed lower in rabbit and optimum blooming period 1120 days. For observation parameters of fastest ginophore existed in rabbit variance and optimum blooming period 110 days. Flower amount existed most in rabbit and optimum blooming period 2130 days. Largest Ginophore amount was in mouse deer variance and optimum blooming period 1120 days. Most cipo amount was in mouse deer variance and optimum blooming period 1120 days. The lowest nuts amount found in mouse deer variance and optimum blooming period 2130 days. The highest harvest rate was in elephant variance and optimum blooming period 1120 days.
