- Film at Indonesia today increase development and each of those films had competed to show their quality. One of the film with quality is film with title Berbagi Suami. This film was narrated about the polygamy live, this film give courage to appear among the community with controversial case about polygamy. This film had won the national award and international award. The film with woman perspective and dominant with the woman involvement, was needed the understanding about the art value or the way to show this film from the woman perspective. This research interest to review how the appreciation of the collegian about the film with tittle Berbagi Suami, with collegian Majority of Communication Knowledge year 2005. And the aim of this research was to know how the shape of the collegian appreciation about the film with tittle Berbagi Suami. Literately, there were some opinions about the film as the communication medium, film as the representative of the community's custom value and as the art, appreciation about art, appreciation collegian for art and polygamy on the feminism perspective. This research was survey research. The population in this research are 40 people, with total sampling technique. The collection data from questioner semiopening while the analysis technique use distribution frequency and the tendency of average center. The research result said that the appreciation of collegian for the film with tittle Berbagi Suami placed at the positive category, where the appreciation review from film as cultural context is more dominant and less dominant for the appraisal about the aspect of the plot and the appraisal of the cinematic elements.
