- This research is an empirical research at public company in BEI with the title “The Analysis Return Change Share of Right issue Before and After toward Company which Listing in BEI". The aim of this research is to test the right issue announcement used by the emiten have an effect on the share price which can be seen from the share actual return. In this research, researcher proposes one hypothesis that is: there is significant not difference of right issue announcement existence to the change of share price. The research methodology used is event study. While research hypothesis analysis used difference test analysis by using paired sample t-test. The result of this research found that (as a whole) there is no significant differences statistically toward the mean of actual share return before and after right issue announcement. This is showing that the right issue announcement did by the emiten or company doesn’t have effect on share price. This condition is caused by the right issue announcement which not give the information and the certain signal to the market, so it make the investor didn’t take the investment decision which affected on the insignificant price change. Finally, the hypothesis in this research is approvable.
