- Basic genre film horror is “nothing is over”, such as is film KUNTILANAK. one of all people know about that’s film, specialy teneger ever watching that film. Truelly, film KUNTILANAK to try improvisation story of Kuntilanak from Java culture. That is can be called as representation of Java culture. Looking for reality, needs some research to take the trully reality on the Java culture on the film KUNTILANAK. Take the basic this research, so the problem want to research is what is unsureunsure Java culture on the film KUNTILANAK, and than the writers distination of this research is to know all about unsureunsure Java culture on the film KUNTILANAK as the congcreat steps. This research as the description kunatitatif research. Method of research is contents analysis. The step contents analysis make it to objective account, measure of manifest content of message. So, content anlysis is one of the analysis methods an analysis denotative system of manifest sign. Research focus is film KUNTILANAK, one account is scene are bring indicator of unsure Java culture and than one analysis is message on the film KUNTILANAK. Producing research over unsur of Java culture on the film KUNTILANAK in costume of Java category is 5 else (6,5%), Java lenguage is 15 else (19,7%), Java artistic is 29 is (38,1%), and than religion system on the people of Java is 27 else (35,5%). Conglusion, many of produce this research never live on the truelly Java culture. Synonim of that statement is many unsure Java culture being not reality but a manipulation of film director. This research not perfect, so many people have an iniciative to give some deeper knowlead all abaout contents analysis from theory or methods. Specialy for student on the Comunication on the Muhammadiyah University of Malang. This contents analysis not perfect to make it some category of Java culture, so next time of many student can make it some method to holding such as semiotika method or discourse methode to know some unsure of Java culture on the film KUNTILANAK.
