The study was based on the observation in the field that still tends to verbal learning activities, instructional media used did not attract students. Most teachers are still carrying out patch-learning with media, less innovative and not try the media in accordance with student preferences. The situation has the potential to cause boredom, boredom, and the laziness of students, and the decreasing ability of integers the sum of fourth grade students of SDN Ngemplak II Baureno. The purpose of this study are to: 1) understand the application of color card media, 2) ability to sum integers, 3) increase student activity, and 4) improving students' responses using the media card on the color of the fourth grade students of SDN Ngemplak II Baureno Bojonegoro. Media color card is one type of media presents a model of media objects and can present the view that abstract mathematics concepts in concrete form that is more easily interpreted and understood by students. The study was conducted on the SDN PTK Ngemplak II to IV grade students study subjects which amount to 22 students. While this research data obtained through tests and non test. The results were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively calculated by percentage. Based on the research and discussion on the cycle I and II found that: 1) the application of the color of the card media is a teacher explains how to use the color card, and students demonstrated in front of the class, and continued discussions with groups of teachers, guidance and motivation to create a competitive learning, members discussion groups are not too many, 2) the ability of increasing the sum of the integers as evidenced by an increase of 27.26% mastery learning, 3) the activities of students who initially only 75% to 97%, this means there is an increase of 22%, 4) students' responses to learning that previously only 75.8% to 90.9%, this means there is an increase of 14.1%. So we can conclude that applying the optimal medium color cards can enhance the ability of the sum of integers, and response activities fourth grade students of SDN Ngemplak II Bojonegoro.
