  • Paving block is a component of raw material made from a mixture of hydraulic cement or the like, aggregate and water with or without other additives that do not reduce the quality of the paving blocks. Basically the study was conducted to determine the value of block paving abrasion strong additional raw material variation of lapindo mud mixture and pressing variations in the drafting process. Paving blocks used in this research have dimensions of length 21 cm, width 10.5 cm, and 8 cm thick. On the drafting process variations that are used with the mixture ratio cement: sand: lapindo mud is 1:4:0, 1:4:10%, and 1:4:20% with pressing variations of each mixture 60 kg/cm2, 80 Kg/cm2, 100 kg/cm2 and 120 kg/cm2. Compressive strength testing should be done first to determine the quality of the paving block additional raw material prior to testing lapindo mud worn paving blocks strong. Each variable was made three specimens, for a total of 144 specimens of paving blocks. From the results of research on variation by pressing a mixture of 1:4:20% 80 kg/cm2 obtained the maximum compressive strength (best) quality II at 269.09 kg/cm2. While the minimum abrasion (best) of 0.097 mm/min, obtained mixture variations on 1:4:20% and 120 kg/cm2 pressing. The strong of block pavement wear more influenced congestion block paving materials were the result of pressing given during the drafting process.
