- This research represents descriptive research by using secondary data of BPS by taking title Potential Analysis Economic Sector to Improve Growth of Economic at Set of Region Development (SWP) in Sub-Province of Malang . The releasing of law code number 22 year 1999, about area autonomy, hence happened friction in development of economics which at first have the character of Centralists flange at Decentralist, that is giving facility to area to build its own administrative territory. With giving of real area autonomy, wide and hold responsible to expected can improve growth of itself area economics. Pursuant to title and background above, this research aim to known how pattern growth of economics at St Of Region Development (SWP), to know sector any kind of taken as exceeding in each SWP, and where center growth of economics at SWP. Pursuant to average value growth of economics at SWP in Sub-Province of Malang, hence autonomous SWP growth of highest economics is SWP VIII (Dampit and its) that is equal to 5,11%. Medium mount low by growth there are in SWP VI (Donomulyo) that is equal to 3,82%. Pursuant to result of analysis Klassen Typology indicating that pattern growth of economic at eight SWP in divided su-province of Malang to become 3 group, that is area quickly go forward and quickly grow what enter in this classification is SWP I, SWP II, SWP III and SWP VIII, area relative drop behind that is SWP IV, SWP VI, and SWP VIII, rest that is SWP V enter area classification go forward but depress . Pursuant to analysis criterion Location Quotient , SWP I which including bases category there are at agricultural sector, finance and commerce, whereas other sector is including category of Non Bases, pertained SWP II is bases, only industrial sector, pertained SWP III is Bases there are at industrial, electrics, transportation and commerce, its sector of him pertained the Non Bases, pertained SWP IV is Bases there are at mining sector, electrics, building, commerce, monetary and other sector service pertained the Non Bases. Pertained SWP V is Bases there are at agricultural sector, electrics, building, commerce, finance and transportation, pertained SWP VI is Bases there are agricultural sector, mining, electrics, building, monetary and services, pertained SWP VII is Bases there are at mining sector, electrics, building, transportation, monetary and service, pertained SWP VIII is Bases only at agricultural sector, rest pertained the Non Bases. Pursuant to criterion SIG that is an worthwhile appliance to identify where region owning growth quickly and also is tardy, have been got by result of that SWP owning growth of highest economics at SWP in Sub-Province of Malang in SWP VIII (Dampit and its surroundings) and automatically center growth of economics in SWP VIII. From result of research can be concluded that writhing each economics of Rhythm SWP have and is relatively homogenous, this seen from distance difference of growth among SWP from year to year more and more to narrow, and by together determine economics growth Sub-Province of Malang, and there are Bases sector and Non Bases. Implication of research above is needing progressively in improving existing pre-eminent sector it each SWP in Sub-Province of Malang as well as needing the existence of an policy program which it activity of pre-eminent sector so its growth can give positive impact to growth of other sector.
