- In our life, language has an important role. Language is and basic for acquisition of the understanding, attitudes, and ideas that are important to individualism, groups and society in general. Without language and the ability to manipulate it, we would have no way of reprinting what we have heard or read. This research explain about phenomena that happen among students who as Digital Native used Digital Media such us social media like facebook, twitter and linkedIn. Phenomena language change among students who was born as Digital Native when they type message, status update and writing is new phenomena among language user especially Indonesian language. This is a descriptive research by using qualitative approach. The subject of this research is facebook user in the writer’s friends. For collecting a data, this research using observation and interview facebook user. The result of this study showed why phenomena “x” presenting “nya” can happen among students who as Digital Native. At the firs time when people use moble phone at the beginning the word “nya” was written as “nxa” an then “nx” and then they only use the letter “x” to write “nya.
