- So far, what we know from French comic are Asterix, Obelix and Smurf only. The era of the French comic was weak in the competition market by comics currently known from two modern countries like Japan with its manga and American comics which is is more on its marvel comic character. Our eyes became open after seeing an exhibition entitled "A Decade of Francophone Comics."
