- Usually a group have several language that used just only inside it. That kinds of language ussually called jargon. Jargon used because to call new thing inside group to make the communicate easier. The language used in Game Atlantica Online among Killua guild also very interesting to be investigate. Because of that reason the researcher want to studying it. The purpose of of the study were to identify the what kind of jargon used based on the word formation process and their meaning used in game Atlantica online among Killua Guild. This research used qualitative research design. To applying this the researcher act as human instrument and used several tools such as observation, interview and documentation to collect the data. The subject of this research are members of Killua Guild inside game Atlantica Online and choosen through purposeful sampling method and take 5 members. Based on the result of the study there are 197 jargon used in Killua Guild members. After that those word grouped into kinds of word formation process such as, compounding derivation, conversion. clipping, blending, backformation, initialism, acronyms , and coinage. The most word belong to compounding that is 96 words, 35 words to initialism, 17 words to derivation, 7 word to clipping, 1 word to blending 1 word to acronyms, 40 words to coinage.
