- UMM Rector, Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, MAP, revealed that the implementation of two post-Idul Fitri traditions on this campus were manifestation of university’s gratitude for God’s blessing. Through two events, namely the Open House after the Id prayers and Halal bi Halal a week after Eid, the Head of the university intended to conduct silaturahim (meet and greet) with the entire family of UMM consisting of lecturers and staffs. Thus, what has been achieved by the university can be perceived together. "At the same time, it is can be used to strengthen kinship among family," said the Rector.
