- Literature describes fictions that consist of carefully arranged words design to stir the imagination and encourages the readers to try it out in their imagination. The readers get new experience from literature that they do not know before; they also can use their imagination to understand the condition, situation and conflicts. Film is history; film gives many messages about human life that reflecting the human thinking, act, behavior, lifestyle, and anything related to human kind which becomes a story. By watching film, the reader will get entertainment and knowledge. This study was conducted to find (1) the causes of Hank’s anger;(2) the effects of Hank’s anger that found in “Me, Myself & Irene” Film.This study emphasizes on the anger which are shows in the script of “Me, Myself & Irene” film. The writer used descriptive qualitative research design because this research only focuses on understanding social phenomena in the film without presenting number. This research used objective approach because the writer only studied the causes and effects of Hank’s anger and did not need to study the author’s life. The object of this study was scene and dialogue on “Me, Myself & Irene” film. The results of this study showed that the causes and effects of Hank’s anger in “Me, Myself & Irene” film.The causesof Hank’s anger were(1)Charlie bored with Hank’s action;(2) Dick underestimated Charlie’s command;(3) a little girl mocked Charlie as a joke officer;(4) Charlie has been tricked by a woman on the supermarket;(5) A lieutenant called Charlie as an idiot man; (6) Charlie offended by the softball player who threw cigarette carelessly. Meanwhile, the effects of Hank’s anger were (1) Charlie and Hank fight each other although they are in one body;(2) Hank crashed the barber shop where Dick was inside as Dick underestimated him because Dick broke the time allocation rule;(3) Hank gave the little girl punishment by plunged her into the fountain because she mocked Charlie as a joke officer;(4)Hank made a woman embarrassed by announcing the price on Vagiclean to supermarket visitor used microphone;(5) Hank scared the lieutenant by pretending as if they were being on video-taped and Hank threaten lieutenant to drop the gun; (6) Hank got the kicks from softball players because Hank challenge them fight each other.
