- Football (football) is a sport which needs special attention. The sport involved many people and all individuals who played in one team and other team faced one another. In a football game, there are often small friction among players and unavoided physical contact which develop chaos or mass-fight in football match. The research has statement of problems as : 1. What factors became the cause of mass-fight among football players? ; 2. how the eradication of mass-fight among football player which has done by Regional Committee of Indonesia Football Institution East Java? This research aimed to find out the causal factors of mass-fight which were done by Regional Committee of Indonesia Football Institution East Java to the mass-fight in football match. The research method used in this thesis was socio-juridical method by doing interview and analyzing data along research whether interview with Regional Committee of Indonesia Football Institution East Java or football players. The data then analyzed in descriptive way. From some of respondents explanation, factors which caused mass-fight among players were : (a) cultural factor ; (b) behavior of football players ; (c) the match officers ; (d) team officials ; (e) match result ; (f) field factor ; (g) security factor ; (h) un-sportive player. The research showed that the effort by Regional Committee of Indonesia Football Institution East Java to eradicate mass fight among football players were done by preventive and repressive by paying attention to several rule of football in Indonesia. The fighting among players in football match were often done by football player who didn’t have professional mental match and didn’t have sportivity and fair play in playing football, also the lack of institutional rule in football at Indonesia.
