- This research was a case study at Marketing-Business Cooperation (Koperasi Pemasaran Usaha Bersama – KPUB) ‘Sapi Jaya’, Kandangan Sub District Kediri Residence titled “Layout Re-arrangement to reduce cost at Marketing-Business Cooperation ‘Sapi Jaya’ Kandangan – Kediri”. This research aimed to find out distance cost of material handling, so that it could give alternative of production facility layout which could reduce the material handling flow and shorten the distance. Analytical tool used to find out whether the layout has used by Marketing-Business Cooperation ‘Sapi Jaya’ has reached efficiency in moving cost at each department. To analyze the production facility layout of livestock food at Marketing-Business Cooperation ‘Sapi Jaya’ Kandangan-Kediri, there used block diagram. It was done since the quantitative data existence whether in load, distance, or accuracy department. From the block diagram analysis, in the first layout which was done by Marketing-Business Cooperation ‘Sapi Jaya’ has distance load 2.358, was very different with the suggested layout which has distance load 1.572, by the layout, the efficiency in moving load would be increase. According to above conclusion, it would be better if the facility layout of livestock food at Marketing-Business Cooperation ‘Sapi Jaya’ change into the researched layout to reduce the moving load cost.
