- Periodic discussion "Muhammadiyah Update", which was held Center of Islamic Studies and Philosophy (PSIF) UMM, Saturday (4/24), presented the former Chairman of Muhammadiyah, Prof. Dr. A. Syafii Maarif, MA and professor of FISIP UMM, Prof. Dr. M. Mas'ud Said, MM. The theme discussed at that time was “Muhammadiyah and the Future of Islamic Intellectualism in Indonesia”. The discussion followed about 90 active participants was great because there were sharp differences among the participants about the terminology of pluralism.
