  • Announcer was a viewer who did the job of broadcasting, serving commercial products, to broadcast news / information, acting as host or comedian, menghendel sports, interviewer, discussion, quiz, and narration. Diradio announcer is a communicator. Knowingly or not, a radio broadcaster should be able to communicate with his audience. From this the researchers wanted to know from the audience's perception of credibility and attractiveness of a radio announcer. So that the formulation of the problem of this research is how the audience perception of credibility and attractiveness Puspita FM radio announcer? Perception is the experience of objects, events, or links obtained with the information and interpret the message concludes. Perception is to give meaning to sensory stimuli (sensory stimuli) (Grace, 2008 51). The appeal of an individual's ability to attract attention, while credibility is an aspect that has Competence (the ability or the authority), Integrity (integrity or honesty), and Good Will (tolerance). Operational definition in this research is the credibility and attractiveness. Indicators of credibility consists of Dynamism, Sosiabilitas, Koorientasi, Charisma. While attractiveness is an indicator of the Physical Attractiveness, similarity of intentions or goals, familiarity, proximity, ability and Friendly. This type of research used is descriptive. The statistical analysis used in this type of research is statistical deskripsif. Samples used in this study were members Puspita FM Radio Fans Club which is still active. And the researchers found 43 Fan Club members who are still active and used as samples. As mentioned by Suharsimi Arikunto (2002:112) that if the subject is less than 100, preferably taken all of that research is the study populations. Therefore, this research uses total sampling techniques. An analysis technique that is used by using the Mean or average analysis. From the analysis of the data that has been done, researchers can infer that in Relation to the credibility of Puspita FM radio announcer, good listeners perceive. Evident from the calculation of average (mean) obtained at 3.2 who fall into either category. While in Relation to appeal Puspita FM radio broadcasters, listeners perceive the good. Evident from the calculation of average (mean) obtained at 3.25 who fall into either category. The perception of the audience who are members of the Fans Club Puspita FM is an assessment, opinion, and an appreciative audience on the FM radio Puspita especially for the announcer.
