- PT. Pertamina represent one of the industry requiring mixing of crude oil to yield Fuel Oil product matching with configuraton manufacture in unit processing of balikpapan. With applying of this linear programming expected can become solution alternative to company in composition optimalization of crude oil. Research identifying by problems concerning composition optimalization of crude oil , product optimalization of stream and blending premium at production floor. The step conducted for the optimalization of composition of crude oil that is collecting data in the form of production process data, price of crude oil, product price of BBM and of yield product ( specification of oil crude ), making an mathematical model which in the form of linear pemrograming as according to used data. And then the mathematical model finished by using Solver in Microsoft Excel. From result of the research , got the result of composition of crude oil, product of stream and of blending optimal premium. From applied proposal method by using solver can give gross margin $ 7,968.08 from early gross margin $ 6,541.25 experiencing improvement of equal to 17.91%
