- Social criticism and mass media is two inseparable different matter but and interaction. Whether media print and also mass media electonik used many by all critic to submit it to criticism to phenomenon that happened in society. Social criticism in film in defining as device have a meaning of submitte by communicator, as social innovation of utuk form new idea to a[n change of social This research aim to wish to know message of social criticism emerging in film " Case" masterpiece of Richard Oh . Researcher by using content analysis method ( Content Analisyst ) trying to pare social criticism phenomenon exist in film " Case". With consideration that film represent reflection entire/all or some of society, equally there [is] social criticism in it. And film " Case" this represent one new genre in the world of film in Indonesia which serve criticisms in it. In this research [of] researcher use unit analyse tematik, in gathering of its files by using documentation technique and observation. obtained data is later ;then processed by using technique analyse distribution of[is percentage of which is later;then clarified by using tabulation technique traverse. In this research, researcher place its research into four structure of kategorisasi, that is is; First, political category and governance . Both, badness category and law. Third, category is problem of moral. Fourth, education category and art. This research yield, political category and governance yield apparition frequency with percentage of 7,14% Category law and badness have the percentage of equal to 7,14% Category of[is problem of moral of society have the percentage of equal to 7,14%. And artistic category have the percentage of equal to 1,75%. Equally result of this research prove that film " Case" condition once with social criticism.
