- re really trust-worthy by conducting a reliable credit analysis. To acquire consistent performance of such credit analysis, a bank has to develop clear standard of procedures concerning the provisions of each specific credit product. One approach that can be used as a framework in developing such credit analysis standard of procedures include Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral and Conditional of Economy, or commonly referred to 5C analysis, that should emphasize on prudencial principle. To study further about the implementation of the prudencial principle we have conducted research at the Batu Branch of The East Java Regional Development Bank Corp. which we write in a Final Project Report, with the title "Analysis of the Application of The Prudencial Principles in the Multipurpose Loan Portfolio At Batu Branch of East Java Regional Development Bank Corp.". The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the prudencial principle, which has been imposed by The Bank of Indonesia, particularly on the multipurpose credit given to its debtors at Batu Branch of the East Java Regional Development Bank Corp. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative that describe or depict information and data obtained mostly from interview and secondary sources through literature in tables and graphs. Based on the collected data, it is clear that the implementation of the prudencial principle through the principle of 5C (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral and Conditional of Economy) gives substantial positive result. The development of NPLs (Non Performing Loan) at PT. East Java Regional Development Bank Tbk. Batu Branch from 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 could be managed quite well lower than impossed by The Central Bank though in the mean time the total amount of credit significantly increase.
