In the constructionist view, the news we read is basically the result of the construction work of journalism, not the default rule jurnalistk. All of the construction process (starting from choosing the facts, sources, use of words, pictures, until editing) contributes how the present reality in front of audiences. The theory used by researchers that is framing the analysis method of Pan and Kosicki. The selection model of Pan and Kosicki framing analysis is based on the consideration that the method of Pan and Kosicki more precise and more detail in analyzing each part of the contents of news, namely by dividing the structure into four structural framing empirical analysis and operation, namely the syntactic structure, the structure of the script, structure thematic and rhetorical structure. The approach used by researchers is a qualitative interpretive approach. This method is used to distinguish the ways or ideological construct media as fact. This analysis is looking at selection strategies, highlighting the facts into the news for more meaningful, more exciting, or more memorable to bring the perspective of interpretation according to media audiences. The scope of this study is the daily news on Java Post and Surya with details of the 10 news.
