- Facebook is the biggest social site which has about 1,16 billion active users. Users of Facebook often use English in writing and posting their status. However, the users frequently make errors in their sentences. One of the error is subject-verb agreement. Therefore, this study is conducted to know the errors and the dominant error of types of subject-verb agreement found in Facebook users’ status. Research design used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The design was used to describe the phenomena of the error of subject-verb agreement made by users of Facebook. Moreover, in this research, the instrument used is the researcher herself. To data were collected through observation and documentation. Facebook Users’ status was the object of this research.The result of this study showed that there were 22 errors of subject-verb agreement found. In addition, the users of Facebook made errors of five types of subject-verb agreement. They were errors of basic of subject verb, error of using expression of quantity, error of using there+ be, errors of some irregularities, and errors of making verbs agree after certain words. The data showed the dominant error of subject-verb agreement was the basic of subject-verb agreement.
