- Measurement of regional government financial performance could be used as manual for regional government to process their regional financial in the next future, as supervisor tool for society to the policy in regional fund application. According to research and discussion there could be concluded that financial performance in Sumenep regency Government since 2006 to 2008 could be categorized not good, especially for independency ratio, evectiveness, Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) and income growth ratio. While for efficiency and original regional income growth, there were good performance. Performance in regional income growth related directly with the decreasing of operational expenditure and capital expenditure, where in 2007 to 2008, there was decreasing on the ratio. The writer suggest the Sumenep regency regional government to dig potential owed by region. In other side, the government should control the regional income sources. The next phase, there hoped that regional government tried to increase all elements progress by institutions to work in optimum way to reach the stated original regional income.
