- The title of this research is “The Implementation of Arisan Logam Mulia Product as the Gold Investment Alternative on PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Branch Malang. The purpose of this research is to know the mechanism of submission of joining arisan logam mulia, installment calculation of arisan logam mulia every month, mechanism of installment payment and acquittal, and advantages and weakness of arisan logam mulia on PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Branch Malang. In this research, the researcher used documentation and interview as the technique of data collection. The interviewees were the director and official employee who understand about arisan logam mulia product and customer who use arisan logam mulia product. Meanwhile, the technique of data analysis used in this research were descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The researcher used descriptive qualitative because the researcher qualitatively explained about mechanism of submission of joining arisan logam mulia, mechanism of installment payment and acquittal of arisan logam mulia, and the advantages and weakness of arisan logam mulia on PT. Pegadaian (Persero) branch Malang. Meanwhile, the researcher also used descriptive quantitative because the researcher described research object based on systematic calculation from calculation of installment arisan logam mulia every month. From the result of analysis, it shows that mechanism of joining arisan logam mulia with installment payment and acquittal arisan logam mulia applied by PT. Pegadaian (Peresero) branch Malang was relatively easy for customers. Meanwhile, installment calculation offered by the customer was easy to be understood. So, there was no problem in paying installment. The product of arisan logam mulia offered by PT. Pegadaian (Persero) has advantages and weakness for customers who use this product. This advantage is being easy to get emas logam mulia by investing through emas logam mulia. As the thing gotten from arisan such as precious metal gold which its type is gold bar that is more guaranteed because it has a certificate that contents are about id number, its weight, its size, and its quality level so, this gold is easier for sale it again and it will be sold at higher price than those that do not have certificate. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that with the arisan logam mulia product applied, this pawn shop facilitates precious metal gold such as gold bar as an attractive alternative investment option for long-term.
