- In this final assignment, the researcher do research in AJB Bumiputera Branch Office of Kayutangan titled “The Implementation of Personal Selling To Increase The Number Of Customers Of Scholarship Partners In Bumiputera Joint Life Insurance Branch Kayutangan”. The research purpose is finding out the development of Scholarship Partner customers and personal selling implementation also problems faced in personal selling implementation. The research type used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative, which is by describing or explaining clearly information collected by interview and enclosed by object development data in table and graphs. In this research method, the researcher collect data found according to literature study, field study in form of interview. From research, there explained development of Scholarship partner customers in AJB Bumiputera Branch Office of Kayutangan from 2012, 2013, and 2014 has significant improvement as the target expected by AJB Bumiputera, also personal selling application consist of several phases, which is finding out prospect target, approach, representation to customers candidate, and handling rejection and also obstacles in personal selling application, which is lack of workforce (human resources) and many competitors.
