  • The purpose of this study was to giving out a picture or description of a situation objectively at Koperasi Karyawan Pt. Brantas Abipraya Usaha Braya (Kosabra). And to test the direct effect of the leadership styles (X) on the performance (Y) and also to test the indirect effect of the leadership styles (X) to performance (Y) organization commitment (Z). The research is a causal comparative research. The aim of the study was to investigate the causal comparative possibility causal relationship in a way based on the observation of the existing result and seek re-factor may be the cause through specific data. Samples taken are as many as 32 employees in all units subordinated to the head of the Cooperative, by using the method of census / Total sampling. Methods of data collection using interviews and questionnaires. The analytical tool used in this research is the analysis of the path, the test of validity, reliability testing, and testing hypotheses consisting of F-test, T test The results of this study are the leadership styles and a significant positive effect on organization commitment. Organization commitment and a significant positive effect on employee performance. The leadership styles and a significant positive effect on employee performance.And leadership style and organization commitment together or simultaneously positive and significant effect on performance.
