- This study is aimed to assess the influence of compensation toward performance with work motivation as moderation variable. The first hypothesis is to examine whether the compensation influence the performance. The second hypothesis is to examine whether work motivation is moderation variable in the correlation between compensation and performance. Population in this study was all employees in Pizza Hut Matos. Sample of this study was chosen by using purposive sampling technique. Data of this study was collected with survey method and was analyzed with multiple linear regressions. The result of this study shows that compensation has positive and significant influence toward performance. The other result that can be concluded is that work motivation variable is not moderation variable in the correlation between compensation variable and performance variable. Work motivation variable is independent variable in its correlation with performance.
