  • The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the permanent employee motivation and konrak. (2) to analyze the differences in work motivation of employees and contracts on Bank Office Indonesia Malang. Respondents in this study amounted to 88 respondents from a population of 118, the sampling technique using simple random sampling. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire with Likert scale data measurement techniques. The analytical tool used is a range of scales and test different (t-test). The results showed that (1) Motivation of permanent employees, with physiological indicators of safety, social, esteem, and self-actualization, including the category of very high with an average score of 144.7. (2) Motivation employee contracts, the physiological indicators of safety, social, esteem, and self-actualization were high with an average score of 129.2. (3) There is a difference between the motivation of employees and contract labor. It can be seen through the t test, the value of t count> t table (6.006> 2.9600).
