  • This research is a explanatory research titled Influence Work Motivation and Work Ability on Employee Performance In Grand Kalpataru Syariah Malang . The purpose of this study was to describe employee motivation at the Grand Hotel Kalpataru Syariah Malang , to describe the ability of employees working at the Grand Hotel Kalpataru Syariah Malang , to describe the performance of employees against Sharia Kalpataru Grand Hotel Malang , to analyze the existence of significant influence of work motivation and ability the performance of employees working at the Grand Hotel Kalpataru Syariah Malang , to determine which variables have the most powerful influence on employee performance at the Grand Hotel Kalpataru Syariah Malang. The analytical tool used is a range of scales and multiple linear regression . Hypothesis testing using the f test and t-test to test are between motivation and ability to influence the performance of employees . The results showed that motivation at the Grand Kalpataru Syariah Malang said to be in the high category. Proved by obtaining an average score of 95 motivational variables. Ability to Grand Kalpataru Syariah Malang said in a low category, with an average score of 72. Employee performance indicated by an average score of 78 performance variables that are at a high assessment scale. The results obtained from a simple linear regression Y=-1.782+ 0.589X1+0.139X2+e. From these results suggested that the company's work motivation and employability needs to be maintained and can be improved further to be higher, so that the performance of employees is also high.
