- This type of research which is a form of qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the phenomena that exist, both natural phenomena and man-made phenomena. The purpose of this study is: To describe the business triggers when viewed in terms of personal, environmental, and industrial sociology at the shoe and leather sandals in Malang. To describe the success of the business in the shoe industry and leather sandals in Malang. The analytical tool used in this research is by using a distribution of frequencies. The results of the business trigger description when viewed in terms of personnel indicate that the trigger for this industry business owners because of dissatisfaction with the work that been done , the existence of termination of employment (FLE ) , a boost due to aging , courage and commitment to risk or high interest in business . When viewed from environmental factors suggests that owners of SMEs stated that the work done is trigger competition in the world of life , training or business incubators and the presence of government policies that provide convenience to the efforts stiffened . There is one indicator that is not a trigger work done that is the resources that could be used , for example, have savings , capital , legacy , which has a strategic location of the building , and so on. When viewed in terms of sociology shows that the existence of relationships or relationships with other people , having a team that can be in a cooperative effort, encouragement from parents to open a business , a family or families in the presence of various facilities and experiences in the world previous business becomes the trigger for the work done.
