- Conditions of market competition requires retailers often make use low price strategy is quite effective for long-term profit. Be a kind of odd pricing tactics of the company to take advantage of the fact that consumers do not always respond rationally prices listed. Pricing of odd and even performed as a strategy aimed Hypermart cheap price. The purpose of there search is to describe the pricing on odd and even visitors Hypermart of Malang Town Square. The research was conducted in Hypermart of Malang Town Square In this study design used is descriptive research with quantitative approach. Sampling technique with judgment sampling are included in non-probability sampling technique. Used in this study were 95 respondents. Data collection methods used in this studyis based on questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used in this study using descriptive statistics with measurement tools such as the value of the mode. Respondents confirmed the odd pricing is deceptive and harmful price, discounted, low prices reflect the quality, price competition shape. Respondents confirmed the expression by the odd price is the price that has been commonly defined, which reflects the high quality of goods, even more fair, the price even more memorable.
