- The purpose of this study is to determine the style of leadership and the performance of existing employees at PT. Petroconas Balikpapan, as well as to determine the significant influence of leadership style on employee performance given. The usefulness of this study which to be achieved, especially for companies expected results of this study can help to develop the ideas for PT. Petroconas Balikpapan Central Office as suggestion in the decision-making considerations for discretion by the company in order to increase efforts to achieve those objectives relating to issues of leadership on employee performance. Analysis tools which used in this research is by using a scale ranges and simple linear regression. Based on the calculation of the scale range of leadership styles in the high category that reflects the leadership style tends towards autocracy. Based on the results of the F test, it has a significant and simultant effect of leadership styles on employee performance PT. Petroconas Balikpapan Central Office
