- This research is descriptive research by case study with title “Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Otomotif yang Tercatat di BEI”. The objectives of this research are to determine and analyze the performance of the automotive company and also to know the automotive companies that provide the greatest Economic Value Added (EVA). The analysis tool used to identify and analyze the financial performance of the automotive companies that listing in BEI is EVA analysis. Assessment of financial performance is measured by the provisions if the EVA≥0, it gives the company Economic Value Added. EVA=0, the financial performance in equal condition, if EVA≤0 does not give the company's Economic Value Added. Based on the analysis of the financial performance in automotive company that listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia fluctuates, In 2009, all automotive companies that listed on the BEI was declared healthy and provide Economic Value Added. In 2010 and 2011, not at all company was declared healthy and provides Economic Value Added. Automotive company that provides the greatest Economic Value Added in 2009 is PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk, in 2010 is PT Prima Alloy Steel Universal Tbk and in 2011 is PT Astra Otopart Tbk. Based on the conclusion above, the authors recognize that this research is far from perfect, because of the limitations of both the data and the object of research. Therefore for other researcher it is need the research on EVA with a longer research period or using another object of research.
