  • the descriptive study entitled "Implementation of Balanced Scorecard As Benchmark Hospital Performance Assessment Islam AL – Arafah Kediri". The research objective was to measure and analyze the performance of the Hospital of Islam Al-Arafah Kediri using Balanced Scorecard analysis. This study uses documentation and survey techniques to collect the necessary data. Analysis technique used is to use the Balanced Scorecard analysis gauge by using the four perspectives, namely financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective and learning and growth perspective. The analysis of data from research conducted on the performance of Islamic Hospital AL-Arafah Kediri 2009-2011 as a whole sufficient. This is indicated in each perspective. In the financial perspective, as measured by liquidity ratios, leverage ratios, activity ratios, profitability ratio, and the ratio of revenue growth from year to year showed an increase. Customer perspective on Customer Acquisition indicators from year to year has increased while in Customer Retention indicator decreased, to the satisfaction of customers get good response from the patients / visitors. On the internal business process perspective of innovation indicators hospitals decreased, and the response times and service levels were considered sufficient because the hospital has met the standard of hospital assessment. On learning and growth perspective on employee retention is a good indicator because the hospital is able to maintain its employees so that the number of employees who came out relatively little. On employee satisfaction indicators were considered less because the hospital has not fully provide services to their employees, resulting in dissatisfaction Based on the above conclusion, the authors recommend to the Hospital of Islam Al-Arafah Kediri to use the Balanced Scorecard as a method of measuring performance.
