- Scabies (mites) has another name Sarcoptesscabieivarhominis that belong to the order Acariformes, Sarcoptidae family, genus Sarcoptes, transmitted through human contact with humans. The name SarcoptesScabie is the name of the Greek sarx meaning skin and koptein meaningful pieces and another word that means to meggarukScabere. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and behavior in patients with scabies personal hygiene compliance in health centers Dinoyo Malang. Design This study used a case study method. Technique used is a qualitative research method in which the primary data collection was participant observation, in-depth interview and physical examination, combined everything into data triangulation. Taking the first data taken from health Dinoyo Malang on September 15-27, 2014. From the results, the results of four themes (1) knowledge is not directly proportional to the report, (2) health seeking behavior, (3) poor hygiene in maintaining hygiene, (4 ) decrease in confidence due to scabies.
