- One of the necessities of an elderly people with dementia it the support from their family. The support from family alms to share the burden and gives the informational. It is really needed by the elderly with dementia who basically experienced a decrease of physical, sensory, the potency and the capacity of intellectual also the possibility of the appearance some unexpected diseases such as dementia.The research design used in this research was case study. The sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling. The sample in this research was the family that nursed the elderly with dementia. The data are taken by using the triangulation data technique. Then, the exizting data was analyzed by using a domain analysis.The result of this research was one theme and two sub-theme, namely: care giver as the theme and sincerity and care as the sub-theme. The results of this research can be used as the positive input for all the families who nursed the elderly with dementia. By looking at the results of this research the family who nursed the elderly with dementia really has the important role in caring them at home (care giver).
