- The ineffectiveness of airway clearance is the inability of individuals in clearing secretions from the respiratory tract or obtruksi to maintain the effectiveness of airway clearance. (Lynda Juall, Carpenito 2006 and Nanda 2005-2006). Ineffectiveness airway clearance can becaused by, airway spasm, excess mucus, exudatein the alveoli. Chest physiotherapyis, action to restore respiratory function both acute and chronic nature with the help of a massage, gravitational force, and vibration design of this study used aqualitative approach to the research strategy of case study research. Sampling method using purposive sampling takenis 1 nurse and 1 family in the care of patients in hospital ICU room Wava Husada Kepanjen on July 17 2014. This research data was taken using interviews, observation and documentation, and data were analyzed by using domain method of analysis. The results of the study consisted management procedures will be under taken by the therapist in the hospital Wava Husada and management effectiveness of chest physiotherapy in hospital Husada Wava.
