- Background: Adolescence is a period of transition between childhood to adulthood and it was a time of maturity or development of physical, cognitive, personality, social, and emotional. Entering time to school, an indiviual has social environment and different relationships, where engagement with peers getting stronger. Sexual behavior of young adults could lead to deviant behavior, which will affect to their own future. Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the correlation of personality type and environment intercourse toward sexual behavior of adoloscent in junior high school "XY" Malang. Methods: This study used a descriptive correlational with observational cross-sectional design. Sample were students of class VII and VIII in junior high school which totaly 121 was taken using probability sampling techniques and proportionate stratified random sampling. The instrument of this study was quisionnaire then data were analyzed by multiple logistic regression. Results: Based on bivariate test with chi square found that p value = 0.001 (<0.05), means that there was a significant correlation between personality type toward sexual behavior and environment intercourse toward sexual behavior, while the results of multiple logistic regression found that p value = 0.000 (<0.05), means there was a significant correlation between personality type and environment intercourse toward sexual behavior of adoloscent in junior high school “XY” Malang Conclusion: There was a correlation between personality type and environment intercourse of adoloscent in junior high school "XY" Malang.
