  • Diabetes Mellitus is a symptom that occurs in a person who caused an increase in blood sugar levels due to absolute insulin deficiency and relaif. Settings diet is the most important implementation for patients with diabetes mellitus in addition to medication and physical exercise (sports) which will affect blood sugar levels and weight. This case study aims to determine the general pattern of keptuhan diet. In this case study the authors used the method of participant observation with a subject that is carried in Puskesmas Dinoyo Malang data collection technique in this case study is the observation of the client in compliance diitnya run for two weeks and changes in body weight and changes in blood sugar levels before and after the observation. The results of this case study shows the attitude of the respondents have less adherent to dietary regulation of the type and amount of reductions in blood sugar levels. Recommendations from the results of this case study need be motivated to achieve compliance with diet programs on the client Diabetes Mellitus
