- Pneumonia is the process of critical infection that causes the system of lungs in alveoli. Generally, Pneumonia is infectious to the child along with process of critical infection in broncus or broncopneumonia. Usualy, the treatment is giving in people who infectious pneumonia by giving oxygen, doing compress, loose the clothes, give a lot of water, and prepare medicine. The purpose of this research is to know the experience of family in treating the child who getting pneumonia in Dinoyo clinic. This research is doing with case study research strategy, by using technique of purposive sampling. The sample of this research is a member of family the pneumonia. Actually, this research is using interview and observation technique. To measure the validity of this research is using triangulasi, and the data is analyzed by domain analist method. The results of this study: (1) the child's health history pneumonia (2) parental anxiety response to the child's condition (3) Form of family care at home is giving compress, administering medications, feeding nutritious, healthy nutrition (4) Efforts family in seeking treatment at a health facility if home care can not be handled (5) pneumonia risk factors: the density of residence. These themes describe the experiences of families in the care of children with pneumonia.
