The purpose of semi fowler position is to reduce shortness of breath. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of semi-Fowler position to reduce shortness of breath in acute pulmonary edema patient. This study used qualitative, which is the object of research is acute pulmonary edemapatient who is 80 years old. Techniques of data colection were interviews, observation, documentation and literature studies. Analysis data used explanation analisis. The result of research is known that there was a change, Which patient states that his breathless was reduced when on semi fowler position.
