DHF is a disease caused by the dengue virus enters the body through the bite of aedes aegypti mosquito. Fluid volume deficiency is a major problem that often arises in cases of DHF. Generally with DHF have problem in fluid volume and electrolyte deficit. One of management in this case is collaboration therapy by giving Ringer Lactate fluid. This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of collaboration Ringer Lactate fluid therapy in reducing the degree of dehydration in children with DHF. The study design used is descriptive, study subjects conducted in children aged 1 year with DHF. Data collection techniques used were sampling techniques, interviews, observations, test methods of data validity, data analysis methods and etical clereance. Data analysis used the pattern maching. The result of the survey was Ringer lactate fluid therapy was very effective in reducing the degree of dehydration in clients with DHF especially in children. By this research, effetivenest of RingerÂ’s lactate to meet the needs of fluid and electrolyte for children with DHF can be known.
