- Stroke or cerebrovascular injury (CVA) is a loss of brain function caused by the cessation of the blood supply to the brain. PatientÂ’s stroke with immobilition and total bedrest in long time without changing thair position, will leat to high risk of preasure ulcers. One of interventions to prevent pressure ulcers is changing position every two hours. This research uses two patientÂ’s to be analized, they are Mr. Sa and Mr. Sr with CVA. Before and after intervention of changing position ( turn right and turn left ) two hourly, the result of this research is the same ( no preasure ulcer ). It means that nursing intervention above can prevent decubitus ulcer.
