  • Mobilization is the way to train almost all the body muscles and improve joint flexibility, while immobilization is defined as restrictions or physical limitations of the limbs and the body itself in a spin, sit and walk. Two factors are an indication of the occurrence of decubitus ulcers. Decubitus ulcers are ulcers caused by pressure, distortion or friction on the network that is more intense and longer than normal. One of the diseases often have decubitus ulcer complications is CVA. CVA also called stroke is an acute neurological disorder, caused by impaired blood circulation to the brain where a sudden (within seconds), or precisely (within hours) onset of symptoms and signs in accordance with the focal areas in the brain is disrupted. This study aims to identify problems on the client with a CVA and to determine the effectiveness of mobilization in preventing decubitus ulcers in CVA clients. The design used was descriptive nature of the case study examined qualitatively. Object that is used is the 74-year-old client with a medical diagnosis of CVA ICH. Data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. From the survey results revealed that the problems that arise for mobilization (right oblique, left oblique) on the object of research is the degree I decubitus ulcer on his back on the fourth day in hospital. Researchers hope this study can be the subject of evaluation in providing health education on prevention of decubitus ulcers.
