- Pnemonia is an infection or inflammation in the lung tissue, especially the alveoli or parenchyma that often affects the child - children. (Mutaqqin, 2008). Ineffective airway clearance is a major problem that often arises in cases pneumonia. Infants with frequent problems of ineffectiveness pneumonia airway clearance. The management in this regard is the provision of chest physiotherapy. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of chest physiotherapy in increasing expenditure in infants with pneumonia secret. The design study is a descriptive, study subjects conducted in infants ages 6 month to pneumonia. Data collection techniques used were interviews, diagnose, physical assessment, observation, documentation studies, and literature study. Analysis of the data used is pattern maching. From the survey results revealed that chest physiotherapy is effective in increasing spending on the client with pneumonia secretions specialy in infants. Researchers hope this study can be used as teaching material in providing nursing care in overcoming inefficiencies in pneumonia airway clearance.
