- Mobilization post sectio cesarea is a movement or the activities undertaken by the mother after a few hours after giving birth by caesarean (Sulaiman, 2008). This study aims to identify self care in patients post sectio and discuss efforts to increase self care abilities in patients with post sectio cesarea in Ruling Room Wava Husada Hospital in Kepanjen Malang Year 2012. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study research strategy. Data analysis method used is the crosstab analice between self care skills before and after the action of early mobilization. The sample used is Mrs. SA and Mrs.S of sectio cesarea with the problem of self care deficit. From the results of research in Mrs. SA and Mrs.S, after the action of early mobilization on first day and second day issue of self care deficit partially resolved. On the third day the patient can be mobilized independently and client can meet her care needs independently. From this study it was found that the actions of early mobilization in patients with post sectio cesarea effectively to improve care for themselves. Patients are expected to take action early mobilization because it can accelerate the wound healing process post sectio cesarea and can enhance the ability of taking care of themselves.
