- Nursing action is the initiative of the plan of action to achieve specific goals (Nursalam, 2001). Pascaoperatif nursing actions with general anesthesia was performed in two stages namely the period of immediate recovery and sustained recovery after a phase pascaoperatif. This study aims to identify the description of nursing action in patients with general anesthesia pascaoperatif in the Recovery Room Kanjuruhan Kepanjen Hospital Malang. This research was descriptive with a variable type of nursing action pascaoperatif pascaoperatif in patients with general anesthesia. The sample used in this study were all nurses who perform actions in the Recovery Room nursing pascaoperatif Kanjuruhan Kepanjen Hospital of Malang Regency, amounting to 7 people. Sampling technique used is total sampling. From the results (71.4%) of respondents perform nursing actions pascaoperatif with good category (28.6%) with category pretty well, (0%) with unfavorable category. Factors affecting the existence of respondents who perform acts of nursing pascaoperatif with general anesthesia with either category because of the mastery of interpersonal skills, intellectual and technical (Rothrook, 2000). It is expected that the implementation of nursing actions, the role of nurses particularly in patients with general anesthesia pascaoperatif more maximized in terms of knowledge, strength, physical endurance, and strong professional self with the aim of healing patients with general anesthesia pascaoperatif can be achieved.
