- Patient in using health service not only look at preference, but also the quality of health service. Emergency Room is patient first place gets nursing service. Aim from this research is to detects about patient satisfaction level towards service quality of nursing service at Emergency Room of Islamic Hospital of Gondanglegi Malang. This research design descriptive with population all of patients that is treated at Emergency Room of islamic hospital of Gondanglegi from date 29 Augusts up to 11 Septembers 2008 with sample as much as 25 persons taken with accidental techniques sampling. Result from this research is in five service quality dimensions of nursing shows; dimension reliability 66,3%, dimension responsiveness 68%, dimension empathy 59%, dimension tangible 62,6%, dimension confidence 67,6%. As a whole 4% respondents declare very satisfied, 84% respondents declares satisfied and 12% respondent declares not satisfied. Nurse of Emergency Room of Islamic Hospital of Gondanglegi Malang supposed to can defend and more increases about nursing service quality so that can more optimal in giving upbringing of nursing towards patient so that will be more increases about patient satisfaction.
