- Foster is a set of Patterns, attitudes and habits of expression of non-verbal parents who give characteristics on the nature of the interaction of children and parents in the face of a variety of situations. Foster Pattern generally directed at how parents treat children in various ways, both in communicating, discipline, monitor and encourage. Each pattern foster different give effect, particularly if applied at preschool age. This period was the golden age, where children have the nature of imitation or imitation of anything that he had seen especially those adults who most closely with children i.e., parents. In addition, children experience the speed of progress very quickly, not only physical but also socially and emotionally as well as being in the process of the initial search for identity. The purpose of this research is to identify patterns of foster parents in preschool age children (4-6 Years). method: this type of research was descriptive research with a sample of 21 respondents in TK RA Moslem NU 27 Sumbersari, Malang. Data collection is carried out by spreading the data processed by quesioner then use percentage formula. The results of data analysis found that there are 76,2% of the respondents to apply pattern foster Authoritative, 9.6% apply pattern foster Authoritarian, 14.2% of the respondents to apply pattern foster Permissive, and 0% of the respondents do not apply pattern foster Uninvolved. From this research is expected to be more selective in parents determine the pattern of the custody would be in preschool age children apply (4-6 years). And for the next author researchers hope to further develop research is mainly about again patterns foster parents in preschool children (4-6 years)
