- Socio-cultural factors are environmental factors that affect mental health. There are several social environmental factors that influence the mental health of social strasifikasi, social interaction, family, social change, social and cultural (Moeljono & Latipun, 2007). Mental disorder or mental illness in some cases referred to abnormal behavior (abnormal behavior), who also treated the same as mental illness (mental illness), mental illness (insantity, lunacy, Madness), in addition there are similar terms of distress, diskontrol, disadvantage , disability. Another understanding of mental disorders dimaknakan as a deviation from the norms of behavior that includes thoughts, feelings and actions (Moeljono and Latipun 2007). This type of research used in this research is descriptive research design. Descriptive research method is a method of research conducted with the aim to create a picture of a situation objectively. Descriptive research method is done by taking the steps of data collection, classification, processing, making conclusions and reports (Setiadi, 2007). Identify socio-cultural factors on clients with mental disorders. As many as 48 persons (60%) of 80 people found the factors of social stratification on the client's mental disorder with criteria sufficient. As many as 31 persons (39%) of 80 people found the factors of social interaction on the client with a mental disorder criteria pretty well. As many as 30 persons (38%) of 80 people found family factors on clients with a mental disorder criteria pretty well. Some 34 persons (43%) of 80 people found the factors of social change in clients of mental disorder with criteria pretty well. As many as 14 persons (18%) of the 80 people there are cultural factors in the client's mental disorder with both criteria.
